Jo Wormald

“Although numbers have always been part of my working life, I am also creative.  This is now coming through when helping my teenagers with their school projects particularly.  And my baking does mean the occasional cakes for the office.”

Jo joined Barclays Bank straight after school, which gave her a great grounding working with numbers and computer based financial controls.  With subsequent roles in Financial Services, Jo then spent 9 years with St Regis Paper Company in the office and administrative roles, mainly credit control.

These experiences developed Jo’s interest and skill in financial controls & balances, which she puts to good use supporting Starfish and its clients in the back-office.

“After some years as a stay at home Mum and as my children approached their teens, I decided it was time to go back to work.  Looking to work in a motivated, friendly team environment, Starfish has proven to be an ideal setting for my skills and temperament.

It is great to be able to combine my passion for numbers with my desire to contribute to a team.”
